Imago Public Relations will traditionally handle media relations during the European Economic Congress 2025 in Katowice (EEC – European Economic Congress). This is the 17th edition of the event organized by PTWP Group, which this year received the patronage of the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union.

United for a safe future. This slogan will be the guiding theme of this year’s event for a reason. Within a series of meetings and discussion sessions, the word “security” will come to the forefront, which panelists will discuss through the prism of economic, social, and political challenges. They will primarily discuss it in the context of new investments, the transformation of the energy sector, and technological sovereignty, which should be the foundations of resilience influencing the competitiveness and stability of the European region’s economy.

The program includes over two hundred thematic sessions, with 1200 panelists participating, including business leaders, decision-makers, experts, and representatives of local government and administration, academia, and media. The EEC will also feature special sessions, such as the Ministry of Industry conference and the EEC Talks series, which will address topics related to Europe, technology, geopolitics, deregulation, and social inspirations. The whole will be complemented by galas of prestigious competitions, such as EEC Startup Challenge and Investor without Borders.

– Imago Public Relations has had the pleasure of accompanying the congress since its first edition. We observe with satisfaction how, over seventeen years, the Katowice debate has grown into the largest event of its kind in Central Europe. The strength and rank of the congress would not be possible without the interest of the media, which every year for three days dedicate their pages and airwaves to our deliberations. This year, too, we expect several hundred journalists from all over Poland and abroad in Katowice. International turmoil, business postulates, the most interesting trends and phenomena today, e.g., related to green transformation or new technologies – all this will be reflected in the congress discussions and will certainly provide many interesting conclusions to communicate – says Marta Dobrzańska, account director at Imago PR, acting as press spokesperson for the European Economic Congress.

The 17th European Economic Congress will take place from April 23-25, 2025, at the International Congress Center and the Spodek Arena in Katowice.

Imago PR is responsible for communication activities and managing the Congress’s press office.

The agency has been working for the European Economic Congress in Katowice since its first edition in 2009. In 2011, communication activities conducted by Imago PR were awarded the Golden Clip.
