Among the projects recognized in this year’s fifth edition of the PR Wings competition for the best Polish public relations campaigns, organized by the Public Relations Agencies Association, were two projects carried out by Imago Public Relations. The jury appreciated the agency’s work in the categories “Protection against Disinformation” for STIEBEL ELTRON Polska and “Technology and Innovation” for the campaign for Stormshield and DAGMA IT Security. These categories highlight the significant areas in which we focused our efforts. The messages of both campaigns, thanks to hundreds of publications, reached millions of recipients.
Stop the misinformation about Stiebel Eltron heat pumps.
The European manufacturer of heating and ventilation technology has taken a stand against misinformation that undermines heat pump technology.
Our activities included preparing statements addressing the “allegations” raised against heat pumps, expert commentaries, and guides on using this efficient and effective heating technology. The materials prepared also became a voice in the discussion about support rules in programs using public funds and contributed to the introduction of legislative changes in line with the interests of manufacturers, and above all, heat pump users. Presentations of diverse, sometimes even “extremely” positive examples of the thermal and economic efficiency of heat pumps also played an important role. In this context, it is worth highlighting the use of pumps in a multi-family building in Urszulin. More than 40 articles have been published on this topic, with a reach exceeding 1 mln. The total estimated reach of all publications exceeded 3.5 million.
Cybercriminals don’t sleep, and neither do we.
The scale of threats related to the digitization of business and institutional operations is enormous and constantly growing. For us, these circumstances, combined with continuous monitoring of the media space, effective substantive and practical communication with experts, and rapid response time in presenting the media and public with quality commentary on cybercrime incidents, were key elements of the campaign aimed at capturing audience attention.
The result was over 300 publications in general news, business, and IT industry media, raising awareness of cyber threats among the target audience. Stormshield has become a permanent presence among the brands whose specialists comment on these issues, solidifying its position as experts in the field of cybersecurity.
– In both projects, the trust of our partners, their expert knowledge, deep insights, and then the efficient development of engaging content and effective reaching of the right audience were crucial to the success of our efforts. We based them on knowledge and solid skills because we consistently believe that despite the development of technology, increasingly entering our industry as well, the canon and ethics of the profession remain unchanged. We have once again shown that we are not afraid of difficult topics, points out Maciej Preidl, account director at Imago PR and head of the team responsible for implementing both awarded projects.
This year’s edition of PR Wings set a record in terms of the number of entries. Imago Public Relations submitted two projects to the competition, each of which received recognition in its category.
