The “I am an endangered species” campaign, conducted by Imago Public Relations Agency together with the 2012 Agency for WWF Poland, won three awards in this year’s edition of the Golden Paperclips competition: a Golden Paperclip in the category of creativity and two Silver Golden Paperclips in the categories: social campaign as well as NGOs and the public sector. In the campaign prepared for the COP24 Conference held in December 2018 in Katowice, the big panda in the WWF logo was replaced by a changing image of a human face. The 2012 Agency was responsible for the strategy, creative concept and project implementation. The Imago PR team supported WWF in its communication with the media, the local community and influencers.
The “I am an endangered species” campaign was also awarded in the European Excellence Awards 2019 in two categories: social media and the best campaign in the following countries: Poland, Ukraine, Republic of Moldova. The project was also in the finals of Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and Effie Poland 2019.
In the 17th edition of the Golden Paperclips competition organised by the Association of Public Relations Companies, the jury awarded: 20 Gold, 34 Silver and 29 Bronze Paperclips, in a total of 31 categories. The competition is open and addressed to all entities implementing projects in the public relations sector in Poland. Its aim is to raise standards and increase professionalism in public relations. Another important aspect is the promotion of best PR and communication practices.
The Imago Public Relations agency has already received 21 Golden Paperclips awards, which it has been winning continuously since 2008.
