Imago Public Relations supports the communication of the green transformation process of FAMUR Group – a technology holding providing solutions for the energy, mining, and transport-transshipment industries. The main goal of the cooperation is to support the building of an image of a future-oriented company that delivers solutions in the area of clean energy production from renewable sources.
In 2021, FAMUR Group adopted new strategic directions, according to which it intends to leverage the opportunities and benefits arising from the global trend of transitioning to low-emission economies. The Group’s ambition is to achieve a leadership position in green transformation among companies in the Polish mining-related sector. The Group’s modified strategic directions include optimizing mining assets, re-profiling selected production plants, and developing towards a holding that invests in green transformation, primarily by entering the large-scale photovoltaics sector and PV solutions for the B2B sector. An element of these activities is also the consistent search for attractive investment opportunities in areas related to RES, transport and logistics, and other promising industrial sectors. The strategic decision to start building a green holding is intended to allow FAMUR Group to achieve at least 70% of revenues from non-thermal coal sources by the end of 2024.
– Our goal is clear – we want to change the reality around us. Therefore, step by step, FAMUR Group is implementing actions that bring us closer to becoming a green economy entity involved in renewable energy production. We want this process to be fully transparent. Together with experienced experts from Imago Public Relations, we will inform our environment about subsequent steps and share our experiences resulting from the transformation process – says Małgorzata Kozieł-Pańczyk, Marketing and PR Director at FAMUR Group.
The brand’s PR activities are overseen by a team specializing in industrial, energy, and modern technology projects, led by Maciej Preidl and Paweł Gniadek. Marcin Dzedzej and Adam Korkiewicz also work for FAMUR Group. The scope of cooperation primarily includes media relations, consulting, and content marketing.
