“A colour that resembles an evocative evening sky, encouraging the widening of horizons and opening up to the flow of communication” – this is how Leatrice Eiseman from the Pantone Color Institute explained the choice of PANTONE 9-4052 Classic Blue as the colour of the year 2020.

The Pantone Color Institute has been announcing the “Colour of the Year” for over two decades now. According to American specialists, the next 12 months should take on the soothing colour of classic blue. However, for many PR specialists, this colour is not merely a one-year hit but a true evergreen.

According to Daniel Muc, account director of Imago PR, it has always been popular in public relations. He proves this in three steps on the company blog (in Polish). Katarzyna Kępa-Lorenowicz, graphic & art designer at Imago PR, also suggests how to handle blue in design.
